Spirit Place Letters of Support

There is strong support for Spirit Place as evidenced by the large number of organizations and individuals who have indicated their encouragement for the project. Over 700 people signed a statement of support and dozens of letters have been received. Here are a few excerpts:

“We believe this project will enhance the neighbourhood in so many ways, including the access to community space and the attractive design of the building, which will only enhance property values and the livability of the neighbourhood in general.”

St. John’s United / Spirit Place needs a strong showing of people willing to speak in favor of the project!

This public information meeting was an opportunity to learn more about Spirit Place as a welcoming space to live, worship and gather for everyone, especially seniors. It also offered an opportunity for discussion about the building.

Architects Workshop

Our Implementation Team and the Architects held a 2 hour gathering/workshop on Saturday November 28 at St. Andrew’s Church Hall.

We began preliminary design of our new Sanctuary and Church space. It was an opportunity for members of the St. John’s United congregation to provide input into what our new church facilities might look like.
